Soccer – De Bruyne to be sidelined until November

Manchester City have confirmed that Kevin De Bruyne has suffered a lateral collateral ligament lesion in his right knee and is expected to be out of action for around three months.

The 27-year-old Belgium international, who does not need surgery on the problem, looks set to miss City’s first four Champions League group games and up to 11 Premier League encounters.
De Bruyne was forced to sit out 12 matches in the second half of the 2015/16 campaign after injuring the same knee.
The midfielder came on as a substitute in Sunday’s 2-0 victory at Arsenal after missing the Community Shield triumph against Chelsea following his exploits at World Cup 2018.
City, 8/13 with Bet365 to win the Premier League title again this season, are 11/2 to beat Huddersfield Town 3-0 on Sunday.
