Soccer – Ronaldo targets European glory

Cristiano Ronaldo has pledged his future to Real Madrid and is eager to help them make more history by winning another Champions League title.

The 31-year-old Portugal superstar had been linked with a possible move away from the Santiago Bernabeu next summer, but says he will definitely see out his current Real contract, which runs until June 2018.
And Ronaldo is determined to try and help Los Blancos secure a record 11th European Cup success, having been a key figure in them completing La Decima in May 2014 – scoring a record 17 goals in the competition in the 2013/14 season.
He told the Spanish media: “I want to stay here for two more years and then we’ll see about the future. That’s the contract that I’ve got.
“Now what I have to do is try to win trophies and the Champions League once again. I’ve spent seven years in Spain and for me La Liga is the best in the world.”
Real, who take on Roma in the last-16, are 5/1 with Bet365 to win the Champions League this season.
