Soccer – Payet going nowhere says Bilic

West Ham head coach Slaven Bilic says his club, who are 12/1 with Bet365 to win the FA Cup, are not about to sell key player Dimitri Payet as they continue on an upward curve.

The Croatian was speaking after seeing his side secure a dramatic 2-1 win at home to Liverpool in a fourth-round replay, with Angelo Ogbonna netting the winner in the final minute of extra-time.
And Bilic was quick to dismiss talk of French playmaker Payet moving on, amid talk of interest from Manchester City and several other clubs.
The Hammers are in talks over a new contract for Payet, who only joined the club last summer, and Bilic told reporters: “I’ll say it again. We are a club moving forward and the most important moves are on the pitch.
“We must do everything we can to keep our best players and he is our best player. He’s happy here and very soon we will sort out his situation.”
