Soccer – Zidane seeks immediate impact

New Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane is determined to make his mark as soon as possible after replacing Rafa Benitez in charge of the Spanish giants.

Former Galactico Zidane steps up from his role in charge of the Real B team, with club president Florentino Perez confirming the change as he made the 11th managerial sacking of his time in charge of the Madrid giants.
And Zidane is determined to bring immediate success to Real this season, telling reporters: “I want to do my very best to ensure that this club at the end of the season will have a trophy.
“It is an important day for me, it’s an emotional day, even more emotional than the day I signed as a player for the club.
“I will be working hard with all the players and I think it will go well. I will put all the heart I have into this job for the club.”
Real are currently in third place in La Liga, four points behind leaders Atletico Madrid and are 9/2 with Bet365 to be crowned Spanish champions this season.
