Soccer – Wenger relieved as injury woes ease

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is pleased with the progress Francis Coquelin and Danny Welbeck are making from their injury problems.

Former Manchester United star Welbeck has not played this season because of a knee injury while Coquelin has been sidelined since sustaining knee ligament damage two months ago during the defeat to West Brom.
Wenger is also hopeful that Alexis Sanchez will be fit enough to play against Chelsea on Sunday. The Chile international has been out of action for two months with a hamstring injury.
Wenger said: “Sanchez, the next two days will be decisive, but I think this time he will make it.
“Coquelin is ahead of schedule and Welbeck should be back in training soon.”
The Gunners can be backed at 9/1 with Bet365 to beat Chelsea 2-0, with Mesut Ozil available at 11/4 to score at any time in the London derby.
