Soccer – Wenger positive after late blow

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has told his players to take the positives from the 3-3 draw at Liverpool which saw them surrender a two-point advantage at the top of the Premier League.

The Gunners looked like taking all three points at Anfield, only for Joe Allen to pop up to secure a share of the spoils for the Reds, with Leicester City cashing in by winning 1-0 at Spurs to draw level on points with Arsenal.
However, Wenger, whose side are 5/4 with Bet365 to win the Premier League title, was far from downbeat after the trip to Merseyside.
He said: “They (the players) need to transform the frustration they have to even more motivation for the next game. There is a lot of positives in the game and there is more positives than negatives in the game.
“I think what happened should strengthen their belief that they have a big part to play in this league.”
