Soccer – Wenger expects Ozil return

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger expects to have playmaker Mesut Ozil available for the visit of Premier League champions Chelsea next Sunday.

The 27-year-old World Cup winner was forced to watch the goalless draw at Stoke City having been ruled out by a slight foot problem which had bothered him in the 3-3 draw at Liverpool in midweek.
However, Wenger, whose side are 6/4 with Bet365 to be crowned champions, is confident the injury is only a minor one and expects Germany ace Ozil to be fit and ready for the clash with the Blues at the Emirates Stadium next Sunday.
He told reporters after the stalemate in the Potteries lifted his side back to the top of the Premier League table on goal difference: “He had an inflammation on his foot and we looked and he was not very well.
“He was not 100 per cent at Liverpool, so I decided to leave him out. I think he should be back for next Sunday.”
