Soccer – Sanchez sidelined again for Gunners

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will again be without striker Alexis Sanchez for the FA Cup third round clash with Sunderland on Saturday.

The Chile international has been sidelined by a hamstring injury since late November and the Gunners had hoped to see him return over the festive period.
However, the former Barcelona forward has taken a little longer than expected to recover from the injury sustained against Norwich City and will not be ready in time to face the Black Cats at the Emirates Stadium.
Wenger confirmed to his club’s official website: “The bad news of the week is that Alexis is not quite ready.
“It is a precaution because of his hamstring and it takes a few more days. He’s not bad, but he’s not ready.”
Having lifted the FA Cup in each of the last two seasons, current Premier League leaders Arsenal can be backed at 13/2 with Bet365 to complete a hat-trick in 2016.
