Soccer – Recent upturn thrills Neil

Alex Neil believes Norwich City’s excellent recent run will make it easier to attract players to Carrow Road in this month’s transfer window.

The Canaries have won three of their last four Premier League matches, with victories over Manchester United and Aston Villa being followed by Saturday’s 1-0 win against Southampton.
Norwich are now six points above the relegation zone and can be backed at 28/1 with Bet365 to beat Manchester City 2-0 in the FA Cup this weekend and at 5/1 to keep a clean sheet against Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
Neil said: “I had aspirations of getting into that mid-table pack as quickly as we could.
“We’re a more attractive proposition for players now. They’ll see us as having a better chance of staying in the Premier League.”
Leeds United defender Sam Byram and Everton’s Steven Naismith are both believed to be targets for Neil this month.
