Soccer – Klopp set for Hammers clash

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says his team will face a “good club” when they go toe-to-toe with West Ham on Saturday.

Having called time on his successful spell with Borussia Dortmund, the Hammers were one of the clubs who tried to sign the German tactician over the summer.
Now Klopp, who was described as “soft” by Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce in the Reds’ 1-0 victory over the Black Cats on Wednesday, is ready to go up against the club who tried to sign him, with Liverpool at 21/20 with Bet365 to win at Upton Park.
He said: “In the summer, I was not available. I’m sure I should say not too much about this.
“I’m lucky I had a lot of interest. West Ham is a good club but it was the wrong time, like all the clubs who approached me.
“Everything is OK. The Hammers. More my second name than ‘soft’.”
