Soccer – City desperate to down Palace

Joe Hart and Fernando have told their Manchester City side to ensure that they take all three points at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Citizens were held to a goalless draw by Everton at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening, with the men from Manchester failing to make ground in the Premier League title race as they still trail the leaders by three points.
England goalkeeper Hart says his team cannot afford another slip against the Eagles, with City having dropped seven points in their last five league games.
He told the club’s official website: “It’s definitely two points dropped, but this game has gone now and we have to look ahead positively to Palace on Saturday.”
His view was shared by Brazilian midfielder Fernando, who added: “We wanted to win both our home games this week, but we didn’t manage to take three points this time, so we have to make sure we beat Crystal Palace.”
The Citizens are 4/11 with Bet365 to secure a much-needed win against Palace, with the draw available at 4/1.
