Soccer – Bilic hints at new arrival

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has said that he is looking to sign a new striker before the transfer window closes after Mauro Zarate sealed a move to Fiorentina.

The 28-year-old joined the Hammers from Argentinian side Velez Sarsfield in the summer of 2014 but only featured in 22 Premier League matches for the club, finding the net five times.
When asked whether he was looking to bring a forward to the club, Bilic replied: “Yes, but not big time. We have some players injured still, but they should be fit early or mid-February.”
Injured trio Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll and Manuel Lanzini will all definitely miss this weekend’s match against Manchester City.
West Ham are 7/1 with Bet365 to draw the game 1-1 and 10/1 to score a penalty against Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
