Soccer – Ranieri rules out January arrivals

Leicester City head coach Claudio Ranieri says he is unlikely to make any signings in the January transfer window.

With the Foxes flying high at the top of the Premier League table and 16/1 with Bet365 to be crowned champions, Ranieri says he does not want to upset the balance of the City dressing room.
He said ahead of a top-of-the-table clash with Manchester City: “I have been asked many times will I make signings – ‘in the window, what’s happening?’. Nothing, we have a very good team and an incredible spirit.
“They are friendly together; they are close to each other. That is fantastic and if we take one, two, three players and wreck the dressing room? No. The team is fantastic.”
A 1-0 defeat at Liverpool on Boxing Day was only the second the Foxes have suffered in the league so far this season, with the other coming in late September when they were thrashed 5-2 at home by Arsenal.
