Soccer – Hiddink confirms Falcao setback

Radamel Falcao is not expected to play for Chelsea in January after suffering an injury setback in training.

The Colombia international is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge from Monaco but has been sidelined with a thigh injury for the last two months.
Falcao, who has only started one Premier League match for the Blues so far this season, suffered a recurrence of the problem in a training game.
Interim Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink said: “He has had a setback which is not always a positive signal. We hope within ten days he might be fit again to train but he cannot appear on the pitch.”
Chelsea are 14th at the halfway point in the Premier League season, having only won five of their opening 19 matches.
They are 7/2 with Bet365 to clinch a top-six spot this season and 6/1 to beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
