Soccer – Mourinho ponders Costa return

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has hinted that Diego Costa could return to action when the Premier League leaders take on Leicester City on Wednesday.

The former Atletico Madrid striker has not played since the 2-1 win against Stoke City earlier this month and has been hampered by hamstring and muscle injury problems for much of the campaign.
However, Costa has still managed to score 19 league goals this season and, with Loic Remy definitely ruled out of the game because of a calf injury, Mourinho may risk the Spain international for the trip to the East Midlands.
He said: “I don’t know about Diego Costa. I have to think about if it deserves a gamble, or if we wait a few more days to be completely sure.
“If it was a player without an injury history I would play him, but because he is a player with a history I have to think about that.”
Chelsea are 11/8 with Bet365 to keep a clean sheet against Leicester, with Costa available at 11/10 to score at any time against Nigel Pearson’s side.
