Soccer – Happy Henderson inks new Liverpool deal

Jordan Henderson is thrilled to have finally put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Liverpool.

The 24-year-old, who moved to Anfield from Sunderland in the summer of 2011, believes the Reds are now ready to challenge for titles on a regular basis.
The England international said: “I’m over the moon that it’s finally done.
“I really think, over the next few years, we can challenge and start winning trophies. We’ve improved massively over the last few years, and I think the next phase for us is to start challenging for titles and trophies as well.”
Liverpool are 12/1 with Bet365 to win the Premier League title outright in 2015/16 and 6/1 to finish in the top four this season.
