Rugby League – Agar keen to shock Rhinos

Assistant coach Richard Agar hopes Warrington will be able to build on last week’s improved display against Wigan Warriors when they face Super League leaders Leeds Rhinos.

The Wolves lost 30-20 to Wigan but Agar, who joined the club during the close-season following a spell as head coach of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, was pleased with Warrington’s performance at the DW Stadium.
Victory for the Wolves against Leeds, which is available at 11/5 with Bet365, could take them to within two points of second-placed St Helens.
“They’ll be ready to come and give us another good workout,” said Agar, ahead of Friday’s clash.
“We need a continuation of the improvements we’ve been showing and to do them for longer periods. Attacking-wise, we are getting people in the right spots, so that needs to continue.”
Warrington are 15/2 to be the Super League XX Grand Final winners.
